Since I recently retired, I now volunteer at the ever-expanding Shalom Farms Northside Richmond location and continue to volunteer at the Shalom Farms weekly mobile market. My second series of watercolor paintings of Shalom Farms for the 2027 calendar is devoted to the Northside location. All but one of the calendar paintings are again based on my photographs of these past 3 years and reference the farm’s urban setting. I even included some of the dedicated staff in some of the paintings. I am also offering notecard prints of several of these paintings.
The original watercolor paintings of the Shalom Farms Northside Series for calendar year 2027 will be exhibited at Crossroads Art Center, Richmond, Virginia, July-August 2026.
A portion (50%) of each sale is donated to Shalom Farms.
